Does The Shoe Fits do shoe repair?

Yes, we have a full repair facility that offers semi-traditional repair services. Our repair technicians operate on a Mon-Fri schedule, and the typical turnaround is 7 days. All repairs are done on premises. A deposit or pre-payment is required on all repairs at the time of drop off. For pricing or specific repair questions, please stop in.

Do you repair shoes that are not from your store?

Yes. We repair shoes from other stores, however, some shoes are unrepairable. We must see a shoe before we can guarantee a repair.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Our storefront accepts cash, personal check, debit, and credit (Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Discover). We also accept industrial subsidies for Red Wing shoes and boots.

What is your return policy?

We offer exchanges and returns for store credit only within 14 days on unworn merchandise in original packaging. NO REFUNDS will be distributed. Clearance items and special orders are final sale.

How do I place a special order?

We accept special orders for items that we do not currently have available or styles/colors that we do not stock, based on manufacturer availability. All special orders must be paid in full at the time of ordering. Special orders generally come in within 1-2 weeks. Special orders may not be returned or exchanged.

Can I order from your website?

At this time, we are not an online retailer. If you have purchased from us before or are interested in one of our styles, we would be happy to take an order over the phone and ship it to you.

Do you make custom orthotics?

No. We do not make custom orthotics, however we do carry a premium line of ready-made orthotics. These doctor-recommended inserts are available in several styles and sizes. A member of our trained staff will complete an iStep foot analysis to recommend the best Aetrex Lynco orthotic for your feet. For more information on Aetrex and foot health, visit our shoe blog.

If you have custom orthotics from your podiatrist or orthopedist, our line of comfort shoes and boots accommodates orthotics, braces, and interior lifts. One of our customer care professionals will assist you in finding the right shoe for your orthotic at the time of your visit.
